Enrolling in the Meditation Specialist Certification
Program was one of the best decisions I have made for my personal growth.
Through developing a regular meditation practice I am learning to be an observer
in life, and to take each moment as a new opportunity to see with fresh eyes...notallowing baggage from the past or anxieties about the future
to affect the presentmoment. I am
discovering I am less reactive in situations, more calm and collectedmentally and emotionally.
By practicing routinely, I am strengthening my mind to be
moreself-disciplined, empowering me to change long-standing habits from
maladaptive to more healthy ones. By creating a more healthy lifestyle, watching
mydiet, and lowering my cholesterol level, I have dropped 15 unwanted pounds so far, feellighter, and arguably have helped to prevent an illness from occurring later in life.
My love and compassion for others and for myself continues
to grow, as I am learning to honor myself as I honor others. I am discovering an innerpeace, a quiet joyful
light inside, like a hugeglowing smile.
