The kickoff for the new meditation specialist retreat one was successful. The class was outstanding and with a great sense of humor. The tour to Varcho Veda labs was met with enthusiasm especially when the taste test session started. The Chavanprash won hands down...especially for those wanting lasting rejuvenation!
The next opportunity to stay connected will of course be the conference call. But, everyone was reminded of the November and January events.

We just returned from an advanced training retreat for the mind at the Himalayan Institute. There were many topics of discussion but the one on subtle energy and the chakras seemed to be favored. Advanced trainings will resume in the fall.

During our call last night we covered a few items on the agenda. All agreed that it is the responsibility of the certified meditation specialist to renew within a specific time. This will be reinforced for the upcoming year.
We also discussed the concept of creating a business and wanting to learn more about the financial implications of different types of corporation. We will try to have an expert on our next call who can answer the business questions.

I just returned from the LA Career fair which had a very large crowd of about 1500 people. Meditation Specialists, Judy Chapel, Sandi Lewis and Melody O'Neill made my job so easy. They promoted the program and helped participants as they were doing the relaxation practices. We had a great time together despite not eating until 6 PM.

We had an interesting meeting discussing several points pertaining to business, credentialing as well as the seminar Mind's Metabolism.
For starters, we took a vote on how we want our advanced training credentialing to appear. So far the one coming in first place is the CMS - 100 versus CMS100 or CMS Level 100.
We also covered social networking via the directory on the meditationspecialists.com website and merging this link with the linkedin and facebook groups. All were asked to send an e-mail in order to be invited in the group. Even students in training were asked to join.

The Secret to Healing Faster
Did you ever wonder why it takes so long to heal, or maybe why someone heals and someone else does not?

The answer to this is how vital someone is at the time of injury or illness. It takes time for our state of being to become dis-"eased". But it seems to start the same way for every individual.

Today it marks 2 months since I had my knee injury. I would like to report that I am walking for the first time with a fully extended leg. I noticed that my leg atrophied about 1/3 ...so it is skinny for the first time. LOL

Healing is a subject of much speculation and even controversy. As I mentioned earlier this year that I faced my own challenge with my torn knee cartilage. I am happy to report that I am walking, almost normally, but certainly much improved. Utilizing the skills that I have learned through my own meditation practices has been beneficial. The practices involved with meditation give you access to your core blueprint what I have termed your center axis. Once you access this center you then can put together your individual healing plan.

Last night our conference call was attended by 50 people. We started with some discussion of the fear that is permeating the country and how it is not in anyone's best interest to allow external influences to dictate happiness. We also continued to discuss clinic 4 and the final exam. I made it a point to suggest that all students stay connected to a source that nourishes them so that they can remain healthy and vital for this upcoming year. Participants seemed enthusiastic on the call. Our next call is scheduled for April.

The papers are coming in and are spectacular. The final clinic is next month and all should be joyful about their accomplishments and their final training clinic.
