Graduating Class 2008

Congratulations to all the students who successfully completed the meditation specialist certification training. Our last clinic was a mix of work and play. Each morning we enjoyed the yoga classes followed by the wonderful breakfasts. This clinic served to bring students to the next level and refine their practices that they began during the year. The final exam was a challenge for most, but overall everyone did well. The plan is to provide Level 2 training as an experiential training which will begin sometime in the fall. Details will follow later in the year.

Last Class
It's been a month since our last meeting in Honesdale. Those 4 days were some of the most intense I've ever experienced.
(that's one reason that It's taken me this long to blog!!!!!)
Looking back, I realize how important it was for me to do well, but the feeling that is still with me now is that I might never see everyone again.
I really feel a connection to everyone and I miss all of you.
I'm happily meditating away in NJ and every day improving my life as I improve my meditation.
I miss everyone and am personnally looking forward to advance training in the fall.
The exam
I was driving home from the last session, with indescribable feeling that something changed in me. I felt joyful, and calm, even though, written exam was total disaster. I knew I passed “other exam” (Exam for myself, which has nothing to do with certification). I knew, that I could memorize every slide and pass written exam earlier or later (I did that a lot at school and seminars). But the “other exam” is impossible to memorize, and there is no cheating (how can you lie to yourself). I knew that meditation practice helped me to pass it.
There is and will be exams in my everyday life, but now I have a very good tool to overcome them. And it is just up to me to make it better.

Are any of you interested in attending a reunion/advanced techniques class with Susan in mid-September? I found a wonderful location in Ellicott City, MD, and will be happy to do the leg work if there is enough interest. I will find out the cost and availability of the location and report to the group, if enough would like to attend...Let me know.
